Licking branch pics.
#1
Has anyone else ever found a licking branch with this kind of action? I found it last year and got a ton of pics. there. This is the frustrating part of having a trail cam. Knowing they are there but not getting a crack at them. I had a stand there but only saw does and little bucks. The big boys only came out after dark. As far as I know none of these bucks were taken last year. I know most of the neighbors and the local taxidermist is a friend of mine. So hopefully they are still around and bigger this year.

Excellent pics, looks like they all are coming from the same direction. Can you follow their trail back far enough to find where they are bedding and set up a little closer to their bedroom and get a crack at them in the daylight

The times are 10:50pm, 11;30pm and 4:50am. They could have come from anywhere. The wholewoods(120 acres)is very thick and the deer do not have a specific bedding area, they use the whole woods , that is what makes this property difficult to hunt.

These are from IL. Drives are allowed, but I don't want to run them out. Drives while bowhunting do not have good odds. I would rather the deer not know I am hunting them. I'll take my chances that way.
