Fixed Muzzy 100 gr. Less that (could) go wrong.

My Dad used mech last year and the results were tempting, but I am not convinced yet.

I hunt a lot in suburban areas around St. Louis. I use rocket hammerheads 3 blades 2" dia. Hit them right and I see most of them fall. I don't want to be chasing them through neighbors front yards. I wait for perfect shots at close range. Have had great luck so far. Most shots pass right through and they even know they are hit. They run off a little ways and look back to see what spooked them. Pretty soon they start wobbling and fall over. That is the way I like it, what an awsome site. We can buy unlimited doe tags in St.louis Co. so I get lots of practice.

I prefer the Rocket Hamerheads also but I have considered trying the new Crimson Talons but I love my mechanicals

Mechanical
why use fixed you get a smaller diameter hole with fixed and if you get the right mechanical you dont lose much penitration and they wont deflect. sharpness is key. I shoot 60 lbs and get clean pass throughs with mecanicals and have even shot a deer in the spine and it penetrated and paralized it. The shot was intentional it was straight under my stand so i shot their knowing if i missed it would still go into the heart.

P.S. hypershock broadheads

I use B-52 fixed two blade. In one side out the other with good blood trail. Fixed...or...Mechanical they will all kill fast, it just depends on where you place it.
