I'm guessing he meant getting the arrow closer to ibo weight of 305 grains total.
Your beman ICS 400's should weigh inaround 375-390 grains depending on length and fletching.
My 28.5" ics 400 blacks weigh 385 with 100 gr tip & blazer fletching.

an easier speed test would be to shoot the same arrow through both bows. Since they are over IBO of each bow it will be safe to do.

BTW- your Tribute is shootingvery near the same speed as mine. I'm getting 275 with nothing but a loop on the string.

What I meant mostly was the arrows. I am shooting Gold Tips at 399.9 grains at 70lbs. The bow chronoed yesterday at 294fps, WITH a rubber tubing style peep sight, string loop, and hush kit. You might want your arrows a little heavier, I was just making a suggestion. I can't tell you how much I love this bow!!!!!
