Ok, Im getting my bow ready for my first bowhunting season this year.
I have the Micro Adrenaline from Browning. My shooting is fine im getting 1" groups at 17ish yards. But i notice that my drawback is loud do to the arrow rest. I was thinking about buying some of the covers that they sell. I was wonderign if u guys on this forum have any exp. with these. Im also thinking about new Fixed Blade Broadheads. Are these the Cut on Contact ones? I will close and say how expensive bowhunting is.

If it is a prong type rest, put the shrink tubes on it. If it is a drop away with a Y type rest, put some felt or moleskin on it.
Fixed blade can be cut on contact or chisel point such as muzzys.
YES, it can be very expensive getting into archery until you have everything you need. Then you usually WANT something else.

I have good groups with practice tips. I was wondering how u start useing ur broadheads before the season and keep them sharp or do u buy new ones of the same type. Do u sharpen them ?

Most folks just replace the blades on a Muzzy. They also make practice blades so you can save the sharp ones for hunting. I'm kinda gathering from your post that your bow doesn't shoot as well, or at least to the same spot, with broadheads as it does with field points. Is that the case?

Do you use any other kind of noise dampening devices for reasons other than the rest. If not you may want to go buy some limbsaver items and possibly a high end string.

My bow shoots like an inch higher with broadheads but i just changed the sight. No i really just started this whole silent but deadly thing. What is a good string for my bow that wont cost to much. Do them rubber spider looking things really help noise reduction?

I really like the Winner's Choice strings. And the Limbsaver Super String Leeches are very good sound deadening devices. Don't last forever, but aren't very expensive or difficult to replace. I also have seen some folks use the rubber string ball thing in conjunction with the string leeches.
Also, the STS seems to quiet my bow down a bit.
