I've shot so many deer I've lost count a long time ago. I would say most have been around 20 yrds. A few out to 40 yrds. A few less then 5 yrds.

Whitetails: bout10-15 yrd Average. A few at less than 5, and 32 is my max.
Antelope: 1 @ 42, 1 @ 37
I practice out to 50 yrds to make the short shots easier. Probably wouldnt shoot a deer past 40. I might if i had only one shot opportunity.

Average is18 yards, which is longer than I would have originally thought. Closest was 6 yards and the longest was 30.
