I use an E-Z carbon fletcher, and i set the blazers as far back as possible wich ends up being 1" and 3/16ths from the back end of my GT XT HTRS without the knocks.

Thanks,I called a buddy that works at a pro shop and he told me the same. Mount them near the end of the nock where youu mount a 4'' vane.

Thanks, Bo

I use a bitzenberger and it lets you set the fletch as close tothe nock as you wish.

hardcore, I replied to your email. Any vane will work best the closer it is to the nock. I use a Grayling jig and put them on the first mark of the jig. Works out to be right around an inch.

Thanks mobo, that is what I did. BTW, very impressed with my 1st arrow i just fletched. Very QUIET and ACCURATE. I think these are going to be a great fletch from what can see. I haven't tried them with muzzy broadheads yet and it is getting dark. Another day. I have always tried different fletchings including quick spins but I always go back to feathers. Time will tell. Thanks guys for your input.
