Late season camo?
#4
Any of the more "open" patterns with sticks and limbs and geographic shapes are far superior late-season (and I believe any-season) patterns than some of the more commercially recognizable brands that are designed to look good at arm's length when picked up off the rack in the retail store.

I agree with Greg. Some patterns are designed to make a fashion statement and look good in camp. I made a ghillie suit a few years ago for spot and stalk huntingout west and it works great. I have had elk sniff me and I mean nose to shoulder because they cannot figure out what I am and mulies within 3-4 yards in the wide open, but it never fails that the guys in camp make fun of me for wearing it. Just proves that commercials work on a lot of people I guess.
