HOYT, physically, technically and from the Expertlies[8D][8D], it's an old wives tail. It doesn't make a difference. Now if your heads were on crooked or something you might have had it work right once with and arrow. BUT, they really don't have to be the same. Trust me, Trust US, TRUST THE ARCHERY WORLD... it does nothing.

Lot's of people shoot a 4 blade broadhead with a 3 fletch arrow. I do it myself and have beautifull flight. Broadheads hit exactly where my field tips hit too. Pretty hard to line up 4 blades with 3 fletches.

If it really mattered, nobody could use 2-blade headswhen using 3-fletch arrows and get decent arrow flight. Just as a point of reference, people have been doing quite well with that kind of rig ever since the Stone Age.
Squirrely arrow flight means bad bow tune, shooting form errors, broadheads not in alignment with the arrow shaft or insufficient fletching size/offset/helicalto properly control the broadhead. Always. Blade orientation to the fletching doesn't have anything to do with it.
The only time it really matters is if the shooter truly believes it matters. Archery is 99% mental and if you are bothered by something, you're not going to be concentratinglike you should.Lack of concentrationcould let your form slip and cause bad arrow flight. So, if it gives you confidence, then by all means orient your blades to the fletching.

I just have buddies who tinker with their stuff constantly and just do it because it looks better and just gives them another thing to tinker with. I guess your right to.
I used 4 blade Muzzys with 3 feather fletches and my broadhead flight is great. Go figure!!!!
