Default Time For New Arrows

Well the time has approached to purchase another dozen arrows. I am shooting a 28 inch arrow out of an older Martin Cougar bow. Looking for
carbons as my last ones were Beaman Hunters and Ihave grownkinda found to to the carbons.I really do not wish to give up my first born in order to afford new ones but neither do I intend on going necessarily cheap. These will be used strictly for hunting. What are anyones thoughts as a way to go since so many options are available???

Hey Dondo, I just spent a few days experimenting with a couple different arrows. I wanted to make sure I wasn't selling myself short with the 340 Beman ICS Hunters I've used for the past 5 years. I was fortunate to have Len allow me to play with some he was tinkering with. I played with the Full Metal Jackets. They really are a great arrow. BUT, when it was all said and done I couldn't justify(so far) the extra cost. My skill level, though we all know it's great[8D][8D][8D], doesn't give me much difference in performance(for hunting purposes). If I were a spot shooter, tournament shooter or something like that ... Maybe. But being of average skills and only a hunter I decided to order somemore ICS Hunters. The only thing I changed was I upgraded from feathers to the Quick Spin vanes, again which Len let me play with first. If you're happy so far, no need to change in my opinion.
