No, they are not pricks b/c of their opinions. If that was the case then everyone would be, right?

Every time I go in there they act too busy to answer my questions. Even though I am the only one in the shop and the guy is just sitting down doing nothing. I think they act that way because I am younger.

The proshop I go to now is great! They answer every question I have. I even asked if I could sit in on some days to learn some new things and they said yes. I always get 1 on 1 attention when I go there. That is my ideal proshop.
I know what you're saying here duc. We've got a shop near the shop I work at that's constantly losing business due to the owners lack of good attitude. They are jerks and don't make anny attempt to help the customer out. It's sad to see that kind of thing, but I'm in total agreement with ya. They were pushing a product. It's just like on here though. Some guys on here (myself included) push certain products, bows etc. That's cuz we've used them or have seen them used and believe in them. But then again, there's the instance where guys hate a product they've never used or seen used. It's sad to see. The funy thing is I've shot gold tips, and until another company produces a better arrow than that I'm gonna stick with 'em. I firmly believe in gold tip's quality. I trust them and appreciate their customer support when I've got questions for them. As far as the guys saying they're inconsistent....I say...."you're nuts" My gold tips are within4 grains of eachother and that's in a full dozen.Maybe I got a good batch but most of my batches are real good too. I love gold tip shafts personally. There are a lot of good shafts out there though and I'd recommend several diff. brands to people. Some pro-shops out there are one-minded in what they sell. I've been to pro-shops that will try to sell you one exact specific set-up...bow sight, rest all. I like going to shops that can show you several diff. good products. I don't know. Sorry this post is so long, but I can relate.

Most pro shops only give good reviews to what they sell and some only sell what they personally believe in. Maybe these guys just don't like GT. That doesn't mean they are no good. Example: my local shop carries Hoyt, Mathews, PSE, Browning, Reflex and High Country.........hates Bowtech. 25 miles away another dealer carries Martin and Bowtech, and talks down Mathews. Anyway, I ended up buying the Bowtech, not because of either shop's opinion but because that is what I wanted.
that's the way to do it too. Cause when it comes down to it, it's really all about what you personally want, not what somebody else wants you to get.
