I've never heard that about TR before but I'm sure its probably true. What I can't figure out is are people saying if its dropped or accidentally damaged, TR won't pay for it? I may expect them to also, but not sure if I would call that bad warranty. If it was plastic and just broke because it was plastic or the thing just fell apart I would expect them to repair it, but then again, I wouldn't have bought it in the first place. The TR products I've seen in the last few years are not plastic and have held up very well. I'm guessing they don't have a lot of warranty issues because their products aren't plastic and are made well. That's one of the reason I've bought them. If I didn't use TR, I'd probably go with Spot-Hogg or HHA, which are comparably priced.
