How many yards??

RE: How many yards??
Just use a 25' tape measure and extend it as far as you can. Mark the very first point (your 0' (zero) mark, then place another marker at the 25' mark. Then place the end of the tape measure at your second marker (the first 25' mark you made) and place another marker at the end of the tape (again at 25' mark on the tape).Do this until you get to the end of your property. When you reach the end, convert the number of feet you measured out into yards. This will get you an exact number. Does this make sense? (It's hard for me to put things into words sometimes. If you think about it, it should make sense.
BTW, 18 steps for me is 20 yards.

I'd have to suggest saving up and getting a rangefinder. Some guys are great at judging distance and don't need one. Some, like myself, aren't and need one. How do you know what your yardage is in the field let alone in your backyard? One can't take a tape measure to every tree stump out in the woods to figure out your yardage.
