My back yard is 50 paces from corner to corner, how many yards is that approx. I dont have a range finder.

Depends on your lenth of stride. Should be somewere betweenforty and fifty, just get a tape and measure.

if i give a little bit of a longer stride then mines pretty close to a yard for each stride, but my normal stride would prolly be about 45

50 paces is somewhere around 50 yards for me.because 1 yard=3 feet and i wear size 12 in shoe so i take about 3 feet steps each time and i get somwhere around 48-50 usually

measure your pace on a yard stick...i learned if i extend mine slightly more then normal walking im dang near a yard...my pace in meters is 60paces for 100meters....hmmm isnt a meter like 4 foot? or a little over a yard?? im going to have to remeasure...wait...we started with the right foot and counted when the left hit the ground.....so that would mean if i counted every foot hitting the ground id be at 120paces for 100meters...so i think my normal stride should be dang near a yard...last time i measured it was science class in...9th grade?..but just did the meter paces for land nav in military class....
