Guys, I've seen video clips here in the past where a hunter took his pictures from the year and then set up a slide show to music and had it put on a DVD.... Does anyone know how to do this or what websites explain it?
Thanks,
Joel

DC, I've done the same thing with the 05' bowhunting contest. Set all the entries to music and am burning them on DVD at this time.
I use a Mac with iMovie, iTunes, and iDVD for mine, but Windows XP also has a built in movie maker. Other than that all you need is a DVD burner, LOTS of free time, and an artistic version.
If you haven't already, send me your mailing address and I'll be sure you get a DVD - I'm giving them out for free.
I have a side business of making these movies that I'd like to go in to full time production eventually.

mac's are the best for movie editing....IT's funny you're asking this as I'm a telecommunications major at Ball State with an emphasis in production. We run all our editing suites on macs. You can use a normal production program to do this if you want. Go to your local best buy and look around....that's the best way. I'm about to buy Final Cut 5 which is a 4,000 editing suite. So I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you plan on doing it for a job. My plan is to produce hunting videos....mark and terry drury offered me an internship as soon as I get out of school, which is good for me. I know them both personally and they are great guys. Good luck to you.

I was a journalism/advertising major at college and we used Macs for doing all that kind of stuff. I personally hate Macs, but they were by far better for doing that kind of stuff.

haha that was a funny post.....I actually laughed out loud when I read it. It's probably the truth. I've talked to Terry quite a few times and he's tried to sell me with the hoyt's but I've stuck to my guns. You're right, I'm not a big fan of the mac's either, but they are great for editing, etc. Nice post man, that was funny.

Well, I will let you know how the new Trykon is as soon as I take possession of mine. I just ordered it 2 nights ago, should have it soon. Then I will be Koool like the Drurys, which means I'm bound to kill off the big racks like them as well
I was considering a Bowtech for my new bow, and probably the only reason I didn't give them a chance is the lack of a dealer nearby my place. Closest Bowtech dealer is 110 miles from my house. Whereas the Hoyt dealer is 50 miles.
