I compiled my bowhunting log last night I keep for the MD DNR - 83 "trips", and 292 hours in the stand. While I was not quite as eager the last day (31 Jan), as the first day (15 Sept) - it was a fun and enjoyable season, even thoughthe "big 'un" narrowly escaped a couple of times.
I lostmy dadthis past year - he got me started bowhunting over 40 years ago, and I hoped he was watching over my shoulder and sharing the adventures...
Planting, making maple syrup, bunny hunting, turkey scouting, sheds, fishing, hiking, lots to do in the outdoors...

3 ago a buddy and me decided to start shooting the indoor archery leagues at our local shop. Not only did it make the 3 depressing months of January, February and March go by faster, it improved our shooting skills and confidence greatly. Best thing I ever did for my bowhunting career. Now I'm hooked on indoor spot shooting, and possibly making a trip to Louisville next month for the 5 spot shoot.
