Default slick tricks or muzzy

I've got some money burning a hole in my pocket. I was looking at the slick trick 100 with the 1 1\8 cut. I want a head that i can resharpen the blades, or just plain replace if they get bent or messed up. I have 6 muzzy 125 3 blades, they shoot ok, but the blades do scare me alittle. They seem weak, and not the sharpest. Are they really field point accurate. Can you really resharpen the blades to a sharp edge. I also was thinking of goin to the 100 grain to lighten my arrow alittle and gain some speed. I shoot a 2117 out of an old compound from the 80's. my longest shot will be about 20 yards max. do they penetrate well. I figure my speed to be around 200.

I shot the Slick Ticks last year and was impressed with their performance on deer. They do not seem as sharp as Thunderheads but IMO they seem as sharp as Muzzy's. IMO the advantage of the ST's is the thicker blades and solid steel ferrule. I shot 3 deer with the same head with no damage to the head. I replaced the blades after each deer and I plan to resharpen the used bladeson a Lansky sharpener before next year. For me, the ST's flew the same as my Thunderheads and field points.

I agree I like the slick tricks. I too feel that the blades on the Muzzy 3-blades are weak. I shot 4 deer with my ST's this year and was very happy.

I would pick the Slick Tricks for sure. For me they did fly like my
field points.

I dont know alot about the slick tricks but I know how reliable the muzzies are.But I'd suggest testing both and seeing what you like best.
