2006 Reflex Highlander??
#1
Whoa, check this out.... If anyone is looking at Reflex bows, here is the brand new 2006 listing of bows:
http://www.huntersfriend.com/2006-Reflex-Compound-Bow/
I have checked out a lot of bows and am leaning towards Reflex. Well truthfully, I tried out a Hoyt ProTec and died and went to heaven, but I am sorry, the price of it is waaaaaay more than I would like spend on a brand new bow.
Reflex bows I tried out and liked:
Reflex Grizzly
Reflex Excursion
Reflex Buckskin - this one is sweet! [8D]
Long story short.... I just called these guys (Huntersfriend) and spoke to a guy in their bow department. I asked aboutReflex'snewfangled bow for 2006 called a "Highlander". I found out Reflex phased out the Reflex Grizzly for 2006 and created a new better, faster, bow and called it "Highlander". The guy said Reflex took the best features off the Grizzly, the forgiveness of the Excursion, and combined it with the speed of the Buckskin and Super Slam.
In a nutshell and quote-unquote from the guy on the phone: "If you REALLY want to get a Reflex bow, the best one out of them all for 2006 is the new Highlander model."
Hmmmmm.... I gotta check this thing out now!

That is a good looking bow! I go tomorrow to pick my Hoyt up after having the limbs replaced. While I'm there I think I may shoot the Trykon, VTec, Allegiance and Tribute! Heck, I may shoot some others while I'm there

Looks like a great bow, I have a Super Slam and I have been shooting it for almost a year and I love it. It is quiet and very forgiving and after replacing the factory strings it shoots a 420 grain arrow at 265fps at 63#.
Well worth the money.
