My Hunting buddy took a big 10 point a few days ago in Belmont county in the evening. The buck was by himself. 19 inch inside spread and good mass. He's definatly a P&Y. I'll be posting pictures in the message titled, "Success in Ohio PLEASE READ" as soon as I get them. It wouldnt hurt to start gruntin softly and maybe using some scent.

texastracker, gun season will be over. Bow season is open through January. Miegs is in a good area. Good luck.

My brother got a 14 pointer last Sunday. That buck was with another buck at the time he shot.We havn't seen any chasing Doe's yet,but with the cool weather it should'nt be long.We have seen alot of Doe's and yearlings so far and alot of rubs, and some small scrapes in the woods we are hunting. It should only get beter for the next 6 weeks or so.

Dec 27 to dec 30th is primitive weapons season.Archery and muzzle loaders.I scoed on a big doe Monday eve.I'm finding some scrapes and rubs are starting to be more frequent. The last week of OCT. should see alot of bucks running scrapes and searching. It should be a blast.
