I leave a message about how bad a morning I had. Then return to the woods and within a hour we found both hit deer. So the most of you that have complained in the hour and half that we was out looking for the two deer, piss off is the only thing I know to say. You guys jumped to conclusions before the day was even over with.

My deer was hit right underneath the spine. It appeared to have broken a vertabrae above the lungs. She ran about 125yrds from where I first saw her. She was bedded down, and her back was covered in blood. Better hit then what I originally thought.

My buddies deer was hit hard right behind the shoulder. Missed the lungs but clipped the bottom of the heart. Didn't cut it very much, but tore alittle place. How she ran so far is beyond me. But this day has definetly brightened up since this morning. As for everyone who has jumped to conclusions, and made assumptions....let the day end before you start making an @$$(outta)-U(and)-Me. Because that's what happens when you assume things.

You did say that at 10:30PM you quit looking for the arrow. Typo on your part??????

I think a lot of people (including me) aren't going to like the idea of taking 4 shots and wounding 2 in one day. Read your message. You didn't say anything about going back and looking for the deer. You just started talking about future hunts.

(I think it would help the grilling if you post some nice smiling pictures of you and your buddy with both the deer)

So... In the hour and 1/2 you found two deer ,gutted them dragged out and then drove them home<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

Even if you did find both deer no one here jumped too conclusions. You had a wounded deer and continued to hunt. If I hit a deer nothing will stop me from doing everything possible to recover that deer. The hunt is over and will not start again until the deer is found or I have exausted every possible way to find it. You had two deer hit and you still continued to fling arrows at everything that came near you.

I am not going to judge you, I don't know you, I am just respondimg to what you wrote. Anyone can make a bad hit, that is a given, Its how you respond to it that makes a difference.

I still cannot imagine the scenerio you described, missed deer wounded deer, hit deer continue to hunt, neck shots more missed deer.

A lot of guys here and myself would of spent most of the mourning looking for the first buck you &quot;missed&quot;. No proof you did not hit it until you find the arrow.

AT 0835 you shoot a doe, AT 0950 your bud shoots a doe, you now both have wounded deer to track and two deer come along and your debating on whos going to shoot them and you see nothing wrong? What about the post that says you can only shoot one deer per day there? Is this true? Careful...what you say can be used....

Once you've said it, it makes it really hard to go back and cover stuff up. Don't try blowing no smoke up my @ss. I'm not impressed.

CK, my post wasn't directed at you bud. Sorry if you thought that. I was saying that since I didn't have anything nice to say I was saying.... With that being said, I have re-read the first post, read that the two hit deer were recovered. I'm glad High Country and his friend got their deer. As far as the rest of that hunt goes..........

I'll try to get some pics taken this evening and developed in the next few days.

How long does it take you to move deer on four wheelers? I know it don't take forever and a day. But what did you guys expect? Did you expect me and my friend to leave two deer in the woods crippled without atleast trying this afternoon after we ate? You guys don't have high expectations for us do ya?

It's been nice posting on this board. But I'm done with it. Laterz guys. Hope the High Country guys whoop up on the Hoyt and Mathews shooters.

Laterz
