Actually I think I know why, they only want to ship to dealers and or distributors which there arent any in maryland or anywhere close to me, thats why.
Did you try Len in Md. he has a shop in Balt called Macrotec.

I went to Ross's web site and looked a few weeks ago. I actually know whereMacrotec is, I'll call them up to check but they arent on the dealer list as of last time I checked. I also was emailing Doug Hutchison directly from Ross, nice guy.

I got the Switchback and I love it. Have talked to people that have Hoyts and they are very pleased with them though. The Switchback just seemed smoother to me.

Hi guys i currently own a 2004 mathews lx and think its good, but i just shot a hoyt power tec and loved it. it fit me perfect. I have a few question though, what type of strings come stock on hoyt and also are they any faster then mathews, and are the hard to tune. Thanks Dan
With a screen name like yours...maybe you should be looking at Martin Bows. HAHA! Had to say it...couldn't resist.

I got a Ross dealer right up the street from me. The owner of Ross live about 5 miles from me. If I can hel any of you guys get a Ross bow just let me know. I have shot there top of the line bow and they did a pretty good job of copying the Switchback but it isn't no Switchback. It does shoot well though.

I like my hoyt but I know Matthews makes a fine bow too. You need
to get the one that fits you best. You will be getting a top of the line
shooter either way.

The Diesel77 is correct I got my Pro shop to carry ROSS, I love my CR337. I would compare it more to MQ1 then Switchback. At least the CR337, I loved the MQ1. Which is why the ROSS was a fit for me. Everyone has fit they like for bows. Stop asking us and go find yours!!!
