Default Browning???

I am seriously considering the Illusion for next year....does anyone here own one and what do you think about it? I read a review in Petersen’s Bowhunting magazine and it was compared to all top parallel style limb bows favorably...yes even the SB and BT's

I just need to hear from browning fans on this one bow.

Thanks, Bo

I have a buddy with the 2005 Illusion. I shot it a few times. Compared it side-by-side to a couple other new bows, including the Switchback. They both shot very well. The illusion is deffinately comparable and I was impressed. I'd like to hear other reviews as well.

I originally ordered an Illusion....then changed my mind and bought a switchback. My neighbor DID buy the Illusion.....and I wouldn't kick a hog in the axx for the difference ("ve now shot them both, extensively).

My son is getting a new bow for Christmas.....and it's the Illusion. Now....I got a good deal on this one....it's not that I chose it OVER the SB....but I wouldn't say it was inferior, either.

While I have not shot the Illiusion (won't draw to my length) I have shot Brownings for over 20years and I have enjoyed every one of them. I have a friend who bought an Illiusion and helikes it very much. Just make sure it fits you and I'm sure you will like it as well.

I think most bows out today fromthe larger well established bow makers will do the job intended and probably far better than most of us can do them justice.

browning bows are made by PSE. browning just tweeks them alittle different.
at my local shop they set up the 2005 illusion and the 2005 PSE vengence stripped of everything except same arrow rest, draw length, draw weight, same release, same arrows.
after shooting them both, i was very pleased with the illusion. less felt vibration in the handle.
they explained to me that the larger idler wheel and cam help to disipate vibration. the larger idler wheel also allows for level nock travel.

i can't wait to upgrade this spring!!!

my first bow was a browning and i loved it....until the limb snapped.
i think it wasa freak thing...i'd get another one in a heartbeat but i've bonded with my pse so the browning will have to wait....good luck with your purchase.
