Default Stuff Happens

So here I sit in Tenn. Just found out tonight via telephone we may have lost our place to hunt, "The Petting Zoo" in Maryland. Seems like someone was shooting off a bunch of bullets to close to the buildings and the residents didn't like it. I tried to suggest not much overa week ago they only allow hunting with bows, but they have a couple they allow in to blast at geese etc. Well, the management got involved and they say NO more hunting after Dec 31. Tough for me because I'm going to be gone all of Dec and was planning on a lot of woods time in Jan. I've had this place for about 6 years for nothing. The landlord allowed a couple others in that didn't like restraints and now we all must suffer. We'll find something else. Stuff happens and it doesn't smell good.

Boy does that stink. I hope you have alturnatives for winter season and the seasons to come. I lost my private just after a year when he said that liability reasons so no hunting for me. I think his son got mad that I got the nice 8 pointer off of his property and his son didn't.

Best of luck to ya.

I'm right behind ya Gotstahunt. We have some decent bowhunting only public land minutes from the house. I've hunted it before successfully and can do it again.

That sucks david. I guess its too simple to allow bow only or too kick the home shooters out.[&:] The following scenario is easily seen...........surrounding homeowners will complain about too many deer eating their daisies and car accidents. Maybe things will die down and bowhunting will be allowed again next season.
