If you have a picture program on your computer, you can crop or resize them down to fit. They have to be smaller than 100kb to upload to a post. Good luck, show us something cool.

I USUALLY CHANGE THE PIXELS TO 600 ON THE LONG SIDE WHICH USUALLY PUTS THE SHORT SIDE AT 400 AUTOMATICALLY
I USE MS DIGITAL IMAGINING SUITE 9 BUT MOST COMPUTERS WILL COME WITH SOME PHOTO EDITING PROGRAM AND YOU OPEN THAT PROGRAM AND OPEN THE PICTURE FROM THE PROGRAM. THEN FIND THE RESIZE OPTION. THEN SAVE THAT PHOTO. I USUALLY RENAME IT BY ADDING THE WORD "SMALL" TO THE NAME I HAD ALREADY GIVEN IT. JUST REMEMBER WHERE YOU SAVE IT TO SO YOU CAN GO TO THAT FILE TO DOWNLOAD IT. GOOD LUCK.

I optimize the photos for the web in Photoshop. It knocks the file size down but has nothing to do with how big in inches you make them. works good. Email me some pics and I will resize them and send them back to you. As long as you don't send me a boatload, I would be happy to help.

Easiest way I have found is to copy the photo into the Paint program (in windows) and use the stretch/skew feature under image and then make the pic smaller that way.

With a little practice, its really easy.
