Deer eat them.

Or, I've put them on my hat with a safety pin.

I assume you're talking about the plastic scent wafers made by HS Scents? If so, these are probably one of the best products out there right now in what I call the gadget/accessory venue... A lot of junk out there, but these are the real deal.

Hopefully, you got the "fresh earth" scent... Take them out and pin them on your clothes; I put one on my left leg below the knee, one on the other leg in the same location, and pin the remaining one to my hat or my left shoulder area. I am an EXTREMELY firm believer in this product, and have more than one P&Y buck on my wall behind me to back up my beliefs.

Store them back in the plastic case they came in as soon as you get back to your vehicle after the hunt; they'll re-strenghten back up by doing so, and you can get a lot more usage out of them.

I also buy several packs of these and throw them in the bag I keep my hunting clothes in. The best thing I ever hear my wife say after showering and dressing is, "Ugh... you smell like dirt!"

Brag, brag, brag.

I guess I would too if I axed that bad boy you did a few days ago.

I also use the crap outta my scent wafers. I have 6 earth scent ones, cedar, pine, white oak acorn, and the doe in heat ones. I never get up in a stand without setting them out. They really do help cover your scent IMO. Great product!

a deers nose is way educated. ever try to cover bad garlic breath with mints. you end up smelling garlic and mint. i would guess a deer would smell human and pine.its only to us hunters that we think we are covering something because we cant smell ourselves when that cover stuff id applied. no scent and hunting the wind works for me.
