Just keep posting mouth, you will learn what other hunters think about your non hunting skills.

I'm surprised this one hasn't been locked yet. Must be a moderator holiday.[8D] I just know they've seen it, but no one wants to pull the trigger. They're waiting until it becomes a full fledged personnal attack.[8D]

Oh please, im not even going to justify myself to you. You seem like you have too much to prove on this forum.

I have a hard time believing anyone on this forum needs the meat badly enough to take that shot. If a person can afford a computer, internet access, and bow hunting, I think they can afford a pork chop at Wal-mart. Say what you will, and I am a rookie bowhunter, but that is not a shot i would EVER take. I have hunted for years with a rifle or muzzleloader and again it's not a shot I would take. There is way to much of a chance that the projectile may deflect off the skull. If an animal is coming straight at me, it will have to turn or pass me at some point. I will wait for the shot that is offered at that point. Although I am out to kill, I have enough respect for my prey to not take low percentage shots. I think those that do are more interested in filling an ego than a tag.

My thoughts exactaly.

I'm a rookie myself, but I would never take that shot.

I'd do it with a rifle.
