deer food

what would work the best on bringing in deer?
i have heard ofmixing maple syrup and brown sugar and using it as a deer lick

Good ole feed corn seems to work pretty well.

anything that has a good odor that the deer will eat is good for food but in IL where i am from it is illeagle to feed the deer at any time of the year
