Default Bow Strings

I want a new string for my Mathews LX, obvious choices are Winners Choice, but there has to be a bit of a cheaper option. What do you guys use other than the factory strings? I am looking at GAS Bowstrings, and Winners Choice right now, I know there has to be some other goods ones too.

I use gibblet's string/cable and really like it. Can't be the quality and price!

There are lots of them. Vapor Trail, Stone Mountain, Prostrings (I've used these), Berry and a lot more. Try a search on www.archerytalk.com

GAS is high quality stuff, Eric, the owner is first rate shooter and an awesome string maker, you won't be dissapointed.

I'll be putting on a new bow string on my Mathews Switchback next year. Figure I would give the new Zebra Barracuda a try...yeah, it's that good...that's why I'm switching.

Not for sure what string to buy. Probably be Winners Choise or Vapor Trail...but who knows.

Stone Mountain makes a great string. Get the Dakota.
