I was out in my tree this morning and I had a doe come in at about 100 yrds down wind. She snorted a few times and then walked into about 50 yrds and stood there for a couple of minutes and snorted several times. She finally left and I could hear hersnortingas she was runningaway. Then right in the same spot that she was standing there were 4 more deer that just stood there and ate acorns for 10 more mins. I was wondering if she winded me and if so why didnt the other deer take off when she did.

I would say she sure winded you. Why the other four did not run off with her like they usually do? Maybe they were young and dumb and were so content eating the acorns they just did'nt care about you. .........dabow

Good question. First day this season I had 4 does come in feeding on their way to bed then one of them turns around to feed some more all of a sudden she starts snorting (like 40 times) man I thought she had a cold or something. Why didn't any of them including her wind me before? and no the wind didn't change
