Have a quick question. This last Friday morning I was sitting in my treestand which happens to be 17 yards from a scrape. The stand location was not chosen because of this the scrape just showed up a couple of weeks ago. Well anyway about 7:30 a nice ten point comes into the scrape to check on it. He never gives me a great shot oppurtunity slightly quarting to me the whole time. The wind changes direction and he winds me and off he goes. My question is what are the chances he will show up again or is this stand location pretty much done for. Thanks for any thoughts.

He'll be back. Deer are always running from some sight or smell. If your confident he's in a good holding area your ok. If he was a passing rutting deer outside his usual element, he may not return.I'm sure you realize this now, but only huntin this stand when the wind is blowing away from the scrape.
