How much sign have you been seeing around where your stand is currently? I wouldn't think near as much... I've never had that much luck around anything else when corn is anywhere near the vacinity. I'd be looking to hang a stand around a travel corridor between the bedding area and the corn. Chances are, if it's still standing, they're bedding down right in the middle of it often, but your best chance is still hanging up in a tree close to that.

The dear will go to the wheat for sure.If you have a second stand then you may want to put it near the corn also.I would sit in the stand for a few days and see if you are still going to have the dear there before moving it to the corn.Dont change it just yet.I have always had great luck setting up by wheat fields.

I think that setting up between the qual buffer and the corn would be a good place if the deer are not still using the trail where you are set up now.

I did not read any of the previous responses but would offer that if you moved your stand based on current sign, as opposed to last year, then I think you are moving in the right direction. Too many folks become stagnant in locating their stands based just on previous years' experiences. Actually moving based on current deer sign is definitely the way to go.
