Hi everyone,
Got a questions about tip selection. Bow set-up is a Browning Yukon, 27" draw, shooting with release, 55# draw, 75% let-off. I will be shooting Easton 2117 aluminum (Fall Hunter), most (if not all)shots will be less than 20 yards. My questions is what grain broadhead should I select, I am thinking 125 grain? Also, my target/practice tips should be the same weight, right?
Thanks,
Darrell

It's all personal preference. Your bow might shoot 100 gr. BH better than 125's or vice versa. Also depending on which one you choose, you might have to change your arrow spine. Try using easton's shaft selector on their website and it can give you a good idea if 125 gr. heads will work with your current arrow set up.
Hope this helps.

Read through the questions on my link. It will help you understand a little more about choosing the right point weight and broadhead. I would also read through the mech vs fixed and tuning pages. if you have an questions just drop me an email. Congrats on your first year bowhunting.

I too would choose a 125 grain head. Especially if you stick with the 2117's.
