Default How long do carbons last?

I have a dozen carbons, GT 5575 xt's. 6, I have been shooting for the past 10 months and 6 Camos that I just bought a couple of months ago that I am saving for the season. My original 6 are alot less accurate than the new Camos. I continue to put new vains on them and it doesn't seem to help. I spun test them just using the palm of my hand and feel a slight wobble in 2 of them but the rest seem to be fine. Does the carbon eventually start to break down and bend slightly or has shooting them for the past 10 months finally taken its toll on them. I won't be using them for hunting so it is no big concern, but I just wanted to know what is the average life span of these arrows?

How much do you shoot? They should last a year or more with average use.The wobble is most likley the insert as I don't THINK (?) carbon bends without heat but I'm not sure on that. Wish I could help more.

Well, the half-life of carbon-14 is 5730 years, so you may get a few more months out of them. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Seriously, I have heard of carbon arrows breaking down in spine after heavy use or abuse. Not sure about straightness.
