The lone wolf sticks ARE the best IMO. But the lock on is just OK. Nothing special there and for $150 it could be better. The seat absolutely sucks on the thing. BUT, it is the easiest lock on to hang IMO.

I've got 12 different lock on's at this point made from just about everyone out there. I still say the Lone Wolf Sticks are #1 and the Gorilla lock on is a notch better due to comfort.

They have completely redesigned the seat and pad for this year - it's 100x better IMO. For $40 you can pick up the redesigned seat base, pad, and off-set bracket that lets you hang easier in crooked trees. I'll probably end up picking a new seat kit up for my Alpha Hang-On becase as you said - the old seat left a lot to be desired in the way of comfort.

you guys kill me you will swear by your gear then so does the next guy the fact is we are all different thats like saying saying one size fits all some guys are cumfy sleeping on the ground others have to have a bed me im kind of cheep ill try to borrow an item from a friend before i buy one i hate to buy gear then find out i cant stand it if i cant try one before i buy i wait for a clearence sale or buy used it takes a little patience but i dont waste as much money
