I am still undecided between the two. I have heard many cx shooters say they think the maximas are the best cx arrow they have ever shot. But I know Gt has proven itself over the years. The gts will have a bit more weight for hunting too? I just cant decide. Wish I could buy both to compare![:@]

Most pro shops will sell you 1/2 dozen arrows so go ahead and try them both. 6 arrows should last you all season unless you hit something and then you can buy more later when you decide.

I only buy arrows by the half dozen. I can't afford a whole dozen of arrows most of the time when I need new ones. If you know the shop well enough they might sell you a few of each to see what you like better.

I really like the Gold Tip XT's and have been shooting them the past few years with great flight and performance. Doesn't mean anything else wouldn't do the same, but I've invested the time and my setup to them, etc.
