I agree in that we, as hunters, should have the opportunity to hunt on Sundays if we want. Nobody is forcing people out there and I do not believe that others cannot use the woods on that one day of the week. Also, for private land owners that don't want hunters to hunt on Sundays...fine, just post the land in that fashion.

I have no problem with people hunting on sundays.
Here in Ontario we are lucky. We can archery hunt on sundays, and only rifle hunt on sundays in Renfrew county.
Great for the working guy who cant get the time off and only has weekends.

Yeah no Sunday hunting sucks big time. There were a few seasons where I missed entire weeks of bowhunting because of work. The biggest hurdle for Sunday hunting in PA is that the majority of private land owners don't want it and surprisingly there are a lot of hunters that don't want it also (at least in my area). It really is ridiculous.

YUP, here in Maryland you can NOT hunt on Sunday. There was something like one Sunday allowed during a special hunt last year or some such stuff. Anyway, you can't hunt on Sunday, but you can hunt with crop damage permits on Sunday. You can't hunt on Sunday, but you can go to the race track and play the horses, get drunker than a hoot owl, blow the family fortune. But you can't take your kids hunting. Go figure.

The No Hunting on Sunday law is still in effect here in Va in hopes that most of us hunters can staymarried! If wecould hunt every day of the week, lord knows most of us would be done for.
See, you guys that have never had a Sunday hunting ban, your wives don't know any different! For us, once they lift the ban...put a forkin us.[8D]
