I haven't seen the show, but I know it would bother me. I enjoy the the hard work I put into my hunting, and I appreciate the hard work others put into their's. It's clear from reading this thread that deer hunting across this country is different everywhere, and that deer hunters and deer herds face different challenges. Living in New England, and hunting deer here is a lot different than hunting in Texas. I know this, if I had 1000 acres or so I too would practice the same deer management as the ranchers do in Texas. But this is straying from the point,

It should also be noted that magazines also promote this unethical practice of shooting "trophy" animals behind high fences and not disclosing the facts of the hunt. Have you ever noticed trophy animals measured, qualifying for P&Y, or B&C, but being labeled SCI? This is because P&Y, and B&C don't recognize animals harvested under less than fair chase conditions, but SCI does.
