Default Dead Nuts Sight...broke a pin

Anyone else have problems with the dead nuts hunter pins breaking? I shot a 3-D shoot yesterday and I got up to the next target and my middle pin was just dangling. Now with the zero pin gap pins, I gotta buy a whole new set of pins.[:@]

Anyone use the Protective cover for the pins made by copper john?

I have broke 2 pins over the past two years.

I broke them both while hunting though not during 3-D. I bought the C.U.P. to protect them. Haven't broke any since then.

Yea, I guess I snagged it on a twig or something, walking to the next shot. I'll definately have to invest in the C.U.P. cover.

any brand fiber optic pin like the ones Copper John uses are easily broken... It's just a fact you have to be carefull with them... I have broke 2 in 3 years and 1 of the time it was due to a dropped bow from my treestand... (ouch) I now have the Deadnutz sight with the CUP on it... No problems...

It was obviously my fault, I'm not placing blame on the company I was just wondering if anyone else found these pins rather easily broken.

I just recently got a Dead Nuts sight. Since I will only be hunting, I got the 0.29 pins. I hear they are less likely to break. I understand that 3=D shooters usually get the smaller pins, which are more likely to break, but of course are smaller, so better for fine detail aiming. I will probably get the CUP before I take it into the field.

mo bowhuntr. i had 3 pins break on me. 2 happened when i was hunting, and then 1 broke when i was just practicing. i emailed them and told them that i did not know if it was me or a bad batch of pins. to make a long story short. they emailed me back saying the replacement pins were in the mail.no fuss or anything. their costumer service i thought ,was hard to beat.
