ampahunter, thanks for the tip, I will definately try it when I go take the two down that I still have up, might save me from cutting the straps off.

I have had no problems with my gorrilla silverbacks. when I first put them up out of the box I had to step all around on the platform to get the welds relaxed and it would pop. after that initial walk around on the platform, they don't squeek or pop.


I have a few questions for you guys though, I can't seem to get my strap around my stand correctly for back packing let alone secure my tree ladder to it. Cany any of you show some photo's of your stands and how you secure them for packing? thanks a million.
