Default Ratchet Pruners

I bought a pair at a recent show and love these things. This guy also offers a lifetime gaurantee. My buddy bought a pair last year and broke them when he was cutting barbed wire. The company replacd them with a brand new pair no questions asked. I use them for clearing my shooting lane for hunting deer and turkey. My friends cut goose wings off with them...

I bought a pair at a show, too. I'm anxious to see if they will really cut through a rib cage and pelvic bone like the guy said. That is what sold them to me. Hopefully, we'll soon see! Good luck this season.

Seems like every year I find myself at a store to buy another pair of the cheap ones, so I will keep them in mind and pick a pair up at the next show I see them at. Thanks for the great tip guys.

Thanks Bowkill, I just ordered a pair, just what I've been looking for.

I bought a pair of Corona Ratchet Pruners from my local Ace Hardware. I was told that the Corona's are the best around. I haven't tried them yet and it will take a three hour hike to get to see how well they work. They are light weight and the anvil is plastic . . . and I hope this does not cause a problem.

Well, I got to try them today on a button buck. They cut through the pelvic bone like it was nothing. Granted, it was just a BB, but as easy as it cut, I think it will work fine on a larger deer.
