Default Ratchet loc bow press?

Iv'e seen this prees in hunting mags and Cabelas is selling it. It looks like a pretty good at home bow press and claims to work well on parell limb bows. I have a Mathews Q2xl and a new Bowtech Patirot 04. I am more concerned with the Bowtech espically sincelimb problems have been noted. Let me know what you think. Thanks Jim

Jim.

I have not used that particular press so I am not going to comment on it.

But I have found the press WWAG from here on the forum makes works great with all different makes and model bows.

Here is a pic of my 03 Patriot Dually in the press.

Those presses are made by a member here. Walks with a gimp (is his username)

I think they are around $80 but I can't say for certain. Drop him a PM for details.

I have one as well and love it. Can't go wrong really. Best portable I've found.

The Bowmaster bow press works great also. It is portable and fits easily in a backpack to take with you.I picked mine up for about $35. http://www.prototechind.com/

That's an interesting looking press, It looks like the fulcrum would put pressure near the limb pocket. Sure it wouldn't hurt a Patriot 04?

Unfortunately I don't have any other information on him. However up at the top of the page you can click 'Member List' and search for him there.

Positive. I believe that's part of the reason he built them. He shoots Bowtech as well. It's nice because it ONLY puts pressure on the limbs and not the riser at all.

Here's a way to email him...Profile is here
