lemond33, generally they go for $550. More people probably shoot the comparable Mmmmaaaatthhh. With the Patriot I think alot of hunters overlook the MM. It's a great, short bow. They shoot very well, and are as accurate as any bow in the 31" ATA range. I really like mine. With limb savers, a good stabilizer, and whiskers they are pretty quiet, and recoil is not bad. Remember, a 60#er will shoot over 300 fps. Mine with a 375 gr arrow shoots low to mid 270s at 60#. Try one out if you get the chance, I think you'll see it's a fine bow. as good as any in it's class.

the patriot is a little to heavy for me...i like a lighter setup. it is a little long too, at 33+in. 4 1/4lbs. the MM is only 3.6lbs. what's the price difference??

The Patriots are generally $100. more than the MM. You still get Winners Choice strings and sand trap limb pockets. Lifetime warranty, too. The MM deffinetly feels lighter, but still holds well for me. As I said, I'm completely satisfied with mine.
