Default SAGITTARIUS PEGASUS 2 QUIVER

SAGITTARIUS PEGASUS 2 QUIVER:

Construction: Machined Aluminum, Plastic

Overview:
I still remember the first time I used one of these. I just couldn't believe how stable and quite they where. I used one for several years and never had a problem. This is a solid strong piece of equipment designed for hard hunting. It comes in a 8 arrow model and a 4 arrow model you can also get carbon arrow holders for them.

Rating system is like this 1 = poor, 10 = best.

Durability: 10 - Strong and rock solid. My only complaint is that the hood inserts wear out over time but that is the same with most quivers anymore.

Quality: 10 - I never had problem with any of the products made by Sagittarius. They are solid and strong.

Price: 9 - They are priced around $39.00 at most shops. This isn't too bad considering the price you would pay for most company’s products that attach to the bow.

Warranty: 10 - lifetime limited warranty.

Installation: 3 - You need a bow press for this one. The attachment brackets attack under the limb bolts so all tension must be taken off the bow to install it. If you buy a new bow and get one put on by your dealer it isn't too bad. If you have a bow press your in good shape too if you don't mind taking your bow apart. If you have to pay a shop to put one on you’re looking at about another $25.00.

Total Score: 8.4

Final Comment: I really like this product except for the complicated nature of it's installation. I wouldn't advise anyone try this on their own unless they are familiar with working on compound bows. The quiver is very solid and quite. The foam hood inserts are cheap and are easy to replace. Really the only way to break this thing is to break your bow!

Default RE: SAGITTARIUS PEGASUS 2 QUIVER

I agree totaly with your review. I have pretty gone to using two peice quivers made by the bow manufacture, or a Frankestien quiver I made myself, but the sagittarius quivers I used in the past have been excellent. I just wonder if they will work on a bow with the PSE NV system installed? I may have to try to see. Thanks again for another great review.
