lonewolf hang on
this might sound like a stupid question, but how do you get in to the stand once you hang it, safely. Does the last climbing stick have to be above the platform? I already have 4 of the climbing sticks that i am using with a different setup, seems like 4 would not be enough if the last stick has to alittle above the platform. Thanks in advance.

Not a stupid question at all. I really think it depends on you. Size, stregth, and flexibility. You need to find the easiest way for YOU to do it in order to keep you safe. I like to have screw in steps up above the stand. It's easier to climb in because I have some to crab above me and get my legs above the support cables on the sides of a hang on. The screw in strep also dubs as a tool to hang anything on (arrows, bow, calls, etc). I'm a little bigger and a little less flexible, so this is how I like it. I'm not all that fond off heights either. Kinda a weird fear to have considering how much stand hunting I do. I'm much more comfortable in my summit climber.

Actually that is a very good question. At that point you are as high as you are going and you don't want to fall from there!!!!
I always place my last step at the same level or higher ,then the stand platform... It is safer and easier . You may want to buy some screw in steps if you want to get higher.Place them first if you want then you can take the last three out when you are done hunting. and it makes it difficult(not impossible) for someone to steal or use your stand!!!
I remove the bottom 3 steps and place a small twig in the holes so I can find them in the dark...I always carry three steps in my cargo pockets.
