You would really appreciate the lighter bow on a trip out west when you spot and stalk elk. I had a Hoyt that was quite heavy on my first hunt. After coming home it was traded for a Parker. I have been looking at BowTech this year and if a dealer starts handling them in my area I will purchase one. The weight is slightly heavier than the Parker, but they make one sweet shooting bow. Something else to consider is that you can always add or remove weight from the lighter bow....but cannot from a heavier one.
