Curt, If I was you, I would get the general. You have the long version, get the short version for the hunts in the blind. Personally, I really like the Black Ice for a shorter type bow. It's damn smooth too.

You can't go wrong with either one!

The Center Pivot Bows truly are Awesome! If I were forced to make a choice between the 2 I would choose the Guardian for the following reasons:
1. Slightly longer A to A
2. Slightly faster
3. Smoother Draw (speed mods against speed mods)

70 lbs at a 30 in draw. I couldn't believe it shoots that fast either. I thought maybe the computer was messed up, but as of yesterday, its still the same.

Well I was all set to buy a new general,but my shop owner was selling his 08 guardian.SoI bought that at a good price and im gladI did.I really like the guardian.
