archery release
I am getting into 3d shooting. I would like to purchase a finger style release (tru ball sabortooth for exam or spot hog Friday or Saturday Special.). Does anyone have any likes or dislikes about these type of releases for hunting situation.

RE: archery release
I use a Truball Copperhead. The Sabertooth is actually made by Scott and it's avery good release. The only issue I've ever had is with a Velcro strap. Get a buckle strap and also shoot a few to see what you like. Both of these are double caliper releases. Scott also makes single caliper releases but I have no experience with them.
Ipersonally like adjustable length releases like the Sabertooth and Copperhead. You can adjust the very short so that youwill have a good anchor point on your cheek and not back by the ear like thebarrel releases.
Attaching the copperhead to a D-loop or string is a breeze. You squeezein onthe trigger and the jaws open up. Some others do not connect this way.
