Default Ripcord and QAD Question

On the drop aways.....

What are the prongs made of? (plastic? aluminum?)

Do you have to put mole skin on your arrow shelf to cushion the fall and eliminate any noise?

Thanks!

I believe on the QAD theyare made of plastic. I have mole skin on the prongs and the rizer shelf. Makes some noise but not too much.

The Ripcord's prongs are made of plastic too. Yes, moleskin would help, but I have an NAP rubber shelf pad to help keep things quiet.

Both ripcord and qad are made of hard plastic, and even with mole skin there is still a little noise. Jimbo has the right idea with the rubber pad.

For '07 the Ripcords launcher arm has been beefed up and thickened. It's still plastic but atleast tougher.
