I have shot both of these broadheads, and personally, I like the Rage better due to its construction and the operation of the broadhead itself. I have seen the spitfires not open completely on impact because they open from the tip. If the broadhead enters from an angle, then the blades will not fully deploy 100%. The rage opens from the rear using what they call a slip-cam system, allowing the blades to fully open as the broadhead impacts. You can check out the website; ragebroadheads.com.

neither. go with the snyper 3 blade. better than both. or save your self the thought process about opening
blades and buy the muzzy. the only thought u will have is about your shot and getting the deer. muzzy's
are simply deadly...hands down.

i use steelheads and have used them since they came out. ive shot at least 15 or more deer with them and have never had a single blade not open. the penitration is awsome and they are def the most accuratebroadhead ive have ever shot.

Thunderheads are my choice, shot a doe at 25yds. 2 weeks ago. Hit her a little forward, though not a complete passthrough it punched through both shoulders, deer only went 40 yds. 125gr. 2315 xx78 60# draw. Heavy setup but lots of energy.

I have Rage, Splitfires and Muzzys in my quiver. My first choice is the rage, if the buck is farther say 40 yards or so i go with the Muzzy, and only after i done shooting all of those i go to the Splitfire. I put the splitfire 3rd only because if i dont get a pass thru the blades close back up and the arrow falls out. ON the rage and muzzy they will stay open and continue to cut and shred as he runs off. And yes my bow shoots all 3 blades dead on with my field points.

3 arrow quiver-2 spitfires 100 gr. and 1 fixed blade rocky premier 75 gr. why? because the spitfires have been problem free and the rocky`s fly the same with no sight adjustment
