Default sight

I've been debating on a new sight for my bow and i don't know if i should get a spot hogg or copper john. I also have been looking at extreme archery's line of sights and like those.... any comments on the extremes.

Thanks

I like the extremes and am thinking of getting one. It's only draw back that I can see is a small site window. However being small it should fit nicely inside of a peep. I have a CP 111 and it's alright. It's not the most expensive out there so I cut it some slack. It's draw backs are the level is not adjustable so if it's off (mine is) you have to improvise. The second and biggest is the 5 pins don't stack straigt up and down giving you shots that vary left and right at different distances. They also use steel screws (rust, not pretty). The Spot Hogg, I had a run in with the president and he turned me off to the company as a whole. There really is none that strike me.

all are good sights but if i were to get one ide get a spott hogg and extend the fiber optics out some to get maximum light gathering. Only downfall of the spott hogg is the price but its pays for it performance and durability.

I sold my Spot Hogg and used the money for a Sword Acu-Site Apex Micro 3rd Plane, and I did this before I was put on their staff. Don't rule them out. It is the best pins sight out there IMHO and will save you money over Spot Hogg.

I'm with lte 622 on this ine ,I have the Spott Hogg Real Deal and I added some extended fibre's on it ,it's much better now for gathering light ,whichI found to be a down fall with Spott Hogg while hunting low light condition's .

I have heard good things about all these sights. I would check out G5's new line of sights. They are a little like spot hoggs but have several features that make them easier to use (like their pins never get mis-aligned). They may be hard to find though!
