Saltflat,

Get ahold of Gary at Slick Trick, and he'll send you whatever type of Slick Tricks that you want.

These things are awesome! I use them along with Magnus Stingers. Both heads are dead on accurate, but I have noticed that when it is real windy outside, the Magnus Stingers can drift off a bit. But with the Slick Tricks, they somehow, in some mysterious way, still fly dead on accurate even in a strong wind!

I'm another vote for the Slick Trick's ,they are definately an awsome head .I bought some last season ,and although I never shot a deer with them yet ,they fly better than any of the head's I've used in the past .I've never tried the Waccum's ,so I haven't anything to say about them ,other than I've also heard some good thing's about them.
If you want a decent deal on your Slick Trick's ,there's a guy on www.archerytalk.com in the classified add's under hunting gear or arrow's forum who is selling them for $21.00 .Check them out .

Gary the owner of Slick Tricks is Oldhootowl that replied to this thread on the 1st page. Gary is a great guy to deal with and sells a great product that performs as advertised. I switched to Slick Tricks 4 years ago, and have not looked back since. 14 animals later I am still impressed. They are accurate, durable, and leave a nasty hole in what they hit. I love to experiment with new equipment like many of you, but my Slick Tricks are one of the things thatI have refused to change over the last 4 years.Everyone I know you has tried them is still shooting them today.

I was a Thunderhead fan until I tried the Slick Tricks. I was extremely
impressed by them flying just like field tips. I just got them this past
December and can't wait to try them on a deer this coming October.
I have not tried the Wacem's, but have heard good things about them.

I used both this year. For deer, I prefer the increased cutting diameter of the magnum slicks. For hogs which can challenge penetration, I chose the wacem's. Don't get me wrong, I've used magnum slicks on elk in the past as well as hogs. I just think for super penetration, the wacem's penetrate more than the magnum slicks. Both have been effective. Both are very accurate in my experience although I suspec the wacems' are a little heavier than adveritsed because out past 40 yds, they hit a few inches lower than my field tips or slicks. A decent compromise might be the standard slicks. You should get increased pentration while still retaining a larger cuting surface.

Both are excellent BH's in every aspect but if I had to choose one over the other , it would be the ST's as they just leave a better set of holes and cut more. I have extensively tested both BH's on game and other objects.
